Born Pretty Store Neon Studs!

Hi guys! I have a review for you today! Got a couple products from Born Pretty Store, and this review is for their "Mixed Rhombus" studs. They come in awesome neon colors and different shoes, perfect for summer nails!

For this look, I used the neon yellow studs to compliment the neon yellow (unintentionally zebra looking) stripes on my accent nails. They were easy to use, I used a (licked) toothpick to pick them up and it worked fine.

Neon Tips!

Hi there! Is it feeling like Summer where you are? The last two days have been normal Spring nice, but this past Sunday was in the 90's, so naturally I sat by the pool and actually got some tan lines! Wooo! Tan lines in May!

Since it felt like Summer, I'll show you some more neon nails I did a few weeks ago. They're some simple neon yellow tips over a sheer nude. I love how they're just a subtle pop of "WOW!"

P.S. I used some weird lighting techniques for some of these photos because neon just doesn't look neon in nice lighting. I even used my flash on the last one, which I never do but it came out the most neon looking...figures.

Neon Nails!

Hey guys! I'm gonna make this quick, I'm tired and I have to pee really bad, but that's two flights up, so I'll post this first.

Remember that blood blister I was whining about? Well it randomly just kind of came off one day! I was so excited! Unfortunately it's in these photos, but my future posts wont have it. I managed to only have it in one set of nails!

So since blood blister got me down, I did some simple neon nails. Different color on each finger and an accent nail using "Clowning Around" by Lush Lacquer, which is just so fun!

I used:
  • OPI: My Boyfriend Scales Walls
  • China Glaze: Purple Panic
  • China Glaze: Metro Pollen-tin
  • China Glaze: Highlight Of My Summer
  • Illamasqua: Rare
  • Lush Lacquer: Clowning Around
  • Seche Vite: Dry Fast Top Coat

Black, White, Pink & Gold Nails!

Oh wow, it's been a while, sorrrryyyyy. I got a blood blister on my photographed hand and I've been a whiny baby about it. I feel like no matter how I do my nails I'm going to hate them because of that ugly little thing. It's conveniently right under the cuticle of my middle finger. Luckily it's not in these photos, I got it after I did these, but the next post...I don't want to do a super cool mani and have that thing ruin it. :(  I'm being a whiny baby again, I might photoshop it out...bahaha.

Anyways, these nails were a little inspired by a striped print my sister sent me that she liked. I told her it reminded me of a table-scape I fell in love with on Pinterest for, you know, my future Pinterest wedding. The color scheme is black, white, gold and pink, and I thought that would make a cute mani. Unfortunately, that pink glitter nail peeled off the next day, so I didn't wear this very long. On the bright side, easy glitter removal!

Pastel Brush Stroke Easter Nails!

Woaahhh, two posts within 4 days?!? Go me! Can I keep it up? Maybe...lol.

I mostly wanted to post these before Easter gets too far away, so I'm posting them before yet another Hawaii mani! Hope you're not sick of themmm!!! :)

Anyways, this idea kind of popped into my head after recently seeing this & this while blog reading (not another Pinterest inspiration, OMG!), and I loved the look, so I tried to do something similar. I used pastel shades over white and one swipe of gold too for a simple, cute Easter/springtime mani. Also, I had to file my nails down to little babies because my index finger nail broke really bad. I think they're cute though sometimes, it's kind of refreshing, and I think it worked with this look.
